When Selling a House Never Give Up Hope

As a seller you never know what’s really going on with buyers, so staying positive the only way to go. My buyers toured a house that was listed September 18^th and made an offer October 4^th, we couldn’t come to an agreement, so we continued to look. Last week on November 19^th we made another offer that was accepted, at nearly the same conditions as the October offer.  The seller, in this case, may have thought my buyer moved on. In reality this house was always in the back of their mind and when we couldn’t find anything better back we came.

Worth the Wait

Yeah sometimes it take a little time and patience, but the goal is always to close. This house went under contract September 1^st with a contract closing date of October 28^th. That all sounds reasonable, but like anything else the devil’s in the detail, and after a few extension we closed. The lesson is when you have a buyer that wants your house have an extra cup of patience and stay calm, in the end the buyer wants to buy as much as you want to sell.
